As the most authoritative trade show in the mold industry, this year’s DMC is themed “Focusing on High-End Manufacturing to Support the Optimization and Upgrading of the Industrial Chain.” Leveraging the advantage of bringing together upstream and downstream players in the same venue, the event integrates brand showcases, efficient procurement, and technical exchanges into one platform. It features two major sections—“Precision Machining” and “Mold Manufacturing”—and brings together over 700 exhibitors across a total exhibition area of 60,000 square meters. The show serves as an efficient platform for connecting technological products along the industrial chain and supply chain, further promoting the deep integration of the mold industry with its upstream and downstream sectors and leading global precision manufacturing technology.
As the world’s largest mold manufacturer, China accounts for one-third of global mold production and is the largest mold market in the world. In 2022, China’s mold industry generated an output value of 330 billion RMB, demonstrating steady industrial development. Total imports of molds amounted to only 1.1 billion USD, reflecting a sustained capacity for internal circulation and supply; total mold exports reached 7.7 billion USD, resulting in a trade surplus of 6.6 billion USD. Over the years, the number of countries and regions to which China exports molds has consistently exceeded 200, underscoring its strong competitiveness. The mutually reinforcing dynamic of both domestic and international dual circulation has become even clearer. Mold manufacturing in China continues to support “Made in China,” further solidifying China’s position as a leading player on the global mold stage.
